manufacturing capabilities
giving you The Competitive Edge.
Long run or short, simple or complicated, military contract manufacturing or
commercial and industrial contract manufacturing, PBE's
team stands ready to serve as a vital extension of your
manufacturing arm. Skilled operators and supervisors work
together to provide assemblies at the highest workmanship levels
in existence today.
A modern well equipped facility serves as the complement to
manpower. Our production success is evident, as we have
consistently grown in sales, facility, manpower and equipment.
Follow-on contracts with top defense companies illustrate further
our on-going success in contract securement and retention.
Our delivery philosophy is basically very simplewe use all
of our resources to meet the deliveries required by our
customers. Our contract history has proven that delivery is a
very important asset. We have continually delivered a quality

PCB ASSEMBLY--THRU
HOLE(AUTOMATIC INSERTION) AND SMALL TO MEDIUM VOLUME SURFACE MOUNT
Pyott-Boone
has the ability to build all types of printed circuit boards.
We can build in volume or in small quantities. We can build
simple to the most complex from commercial to MIL-STD-2000.
Microprocessor Controlled Solderability Tester, "Z"
wave solder machine, Vapor phase re-flow system, Pick and Place
Surface Mount and related equipment, aqueous cleaning system
with Deionized water, conformal coating, and ESS screening are
available. These are some of the tools and processes utilized
in this type of manufacturing. Only the most skilled operators
are used because of the varied criteria required in printed
circuit board assembly.
Kanban production lines are
utilized where possible in an effort to provide continuous
flow manufacturing.
In addition to assembly of the actual
printed circuit board, other operations such as coating or
encapsulating may be required.

CABLE ASSEMBLY
Our
manufacturing and quality engineers work with production
supervisors as a team in writing the manufacturing
instructions and building the necessary tooling and fixtures
required to meet the tight tolerances called out on the
drawings. Many reviews are accomplished before the operator
has the opportunity to begin the assembly. Once begun, our
engineers do in-process checks to assure all requirements are
being met. A "first article" is performed by quality
inspectors and engineers before being submitted to customer or
government representatives.
Testing of cable assemblies
can be accomplished through cable scans, hand bugging with
multi-meters, or through utilization of one of our Omni Tester
computerized continuity and hi-pot testers.

WIRING HARNESS ASSEMBLY
Pyott-Boone
has the ability to build all types of branched wiring
harnesses. We can build in volume or in small quantities. We
can build simple to the most complex requiring shields, broom
stitching, exact lacing, etc. Thermal strippers,
sophisticated crimping tools, pull gauges, cable scans,
Kingsley hot stamping machines, TMS computerized marking
system, etc. are some of the tools utilized in this type of
manufacturing. Only the most skilled operators are used
because of the varied criteria required in wiring harness
assembly.
In addition to layout of the actual harness,
other operations such as coating or encapsulating may be
required. Our knowledge and experience in this area is another
asset for our company.

ELECTRO/MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY
Pyott-Boone has the capability
to produce electro-mechanical assemblies from bracket
assemblies to panel assemblies to black boxes to I/O
assemblies. The ability to interpret a drawing or
specification to produce a satisfactory end item or
subassembly is one of our greatest strengths. Experience can
only make this happen. Every company has their
interpretation of a drawing or how they want the unit to
appear. It is our job to satisfy that customer to their
expectations and only theirs.
Tools, processes, training and understanding
are the keys to an electro-mechanical assembly. These keys
will determine the quality and reliability of the assembly and
thus the success of our customer. We strive to make our
customers proud of our company.

CONFORMAL COATING
Pyott
Boone’s coating room is temperature and humidity controlled.
The temperature controlled to 70o
F + /- 2o
F, and humidity to less than 50%. Chart recorders monitor both
temperature and humidity on a weekly basis. Temperature and
humidity being important, the process is stopped if they
become out of tolerance. The coating room includes ovens for
removing moisture from the assemblies after the cleaning
process. Cleanliness is always checked before coating. Spray
or dip processes are used. We also provide LFI vertical
laminar air flow work stations to insure dust free results.
Ultra-violet light or scope inspection is required to
determine results. Coatings meeting MIL-I-46058C type UR are
used and special formulated coating compounds are used where
required. Calibrated scales are maintained to insure that
mixing is done correctly. Freezing unused coating to -40oF
insures the waste is kept to a minimum. All coatings are date
coded and monitored by quality and removed when necessary. No
expired date coded material is ever used.
